HVAC Supervisor

About the role

The HVAC Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all air‑conditioning systems within a Radisson hotel, ensuring reliable operation, safety, and guest comfort.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise all air‑conditioning equipment and systems throughout the hotel.
• Perform emergency repairs and adjustments to AC units promptly.
• Ensure trouble reports are addressed swiftly and accurately.
• Carry out routine and planned preventive maintenance according to schedule.
• Maintain familiarity with the hotel’s HVAC layout and schematics.
• Consider economic efficiency while adhering to safety practices.
• Recommend and coordinate minor or major repairs as needed.
• Execute statutory and safety checks as instructed.
• Report equipment faults immediately to senior supervision.
• Maintain relevant log sheets and notify supervisors upon job completion.

Required profile

• Diploma or technical certification in HVAC, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of HVAC maintenance experience, preferably in a 5‑star hotel or luxury hospitality environment.
• Proven supervisory experience with the ability to lead, train, and schedule technicians.
• Hands‑on experience in preventive maintenance planning using CMMS or similar schedules.
• Strong understanding of health, safety, and fire‑life safety standards applicable to hotels.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills to work with Engineering, Housekeeping, and Front Office teams.

Required skills

• Knowledge of chilled water systems, air handling units (AHUs), fan coil units (FCUs), and VRF/VRV technology.
• Experience with package units and HVAC controls, including BMS integration.
• Proficiency in energy management practices and troubleshooting complex HVAC issues.
• Familiarity with CMMS for maintenance tracking and reporting.
