HVAC/CRAC Technician

About the role

The HVAC/CRAC Technician will support fast‑paced facility operations, ensuring reliable performance of chillers, air‑conditioning, ventilation, and structural systems. The role involves supervising field work, troubleshooting equipment, and coordinating preventive maintenance in a deployed environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily field inspections and assist craftsmen with assigned duties.
• Troubleshoot and restore operation of HVAC, CRAC, and related facility equipment.
• Schedule and execute preventive maintenance tasks and work orders.
• Respond to after‑hour calls and emergency service requests.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, OSHA lifting limits, and safety regulations.

Required profile

• High School diploma or GED.
• Minimum 5 years experience maintaining commercial/industrial HVAC/R and CRAC systems.
• Journeyman HVAC certification with a valid CFC Universal License.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license (and passport preferred).
• Ability to meet USCENTCOM deployment requirements and obtain a Qatar residency visa.
• DoD Secret clearance and willingness to travel 100% in deployed locations.

Required skills

• HVAC/R systems maintenance and repair.
• Computer Room Air Conditioning (CRAC) system troubleshooting.
• Journeyman HVAC certification.
• CFC Universal License/Certification.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
