Information Technology Support Specialist

About the role

Al Waha Cars is looking for a full‑time, on‑site Information Technology Support Specialist to keep its IT infrastructure running smoothly. You will provide help‑desk assistance, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and support internal teams across multiple locations.

Key responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, network, printer, scanner, and Microsoft Office issues.
• Install, configure and maintain desktops, laptops, mobile devices and peripherals.
• Support and maintain LAN, WAN, Wi‑Fi, VPN and overall network infrastructure.
• Configure, monitor and troubleshoot Fortinet firewalls and other security devices.
• Install and manage Ruijie switches, routers, access points and internet connectivity.
• Install, configure and maintain Windows Servers, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policies and file servers.
• Install, configure and support CCTV cameras, NVR systems and resolve recording issues.
• Provide technical support for Yealink IP phones, PBX systems, SIP trunks, IVR configuration and call routing.
• Maintain IT asset inventory, rack layouts, patch panels, cable management and documentation.
• Support business applications such as CRM, DMS, booking and ticketing systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT support or system administration.
• Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Fortinet firewalls, CCTV and IP telephony.
• Strong knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, VLANs, VPN, DNS, DHCP).
• Preferred experience in multi‑site environments.
• Relevant certifications (Microsoft M365/Windows Server, Fortinet NSE, CCNA, ITIL Foundation, CompTIA Network+ or Security+).
• Fluent English; Arabic is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
