Inventory Planning Lead – Qatari Nationals

About the role

The Inventory Planning Lead will drive inventory planning and control across Mowasalat’s operations, ensuring optimal stock availability, accuracy and cost efficiency. The role focuses on demand forecasting, inventory optimisation and cross‑functional coordination to minimise stock‑outs and overstocking.

Key responsibilities

• Lead inventory planning activities using historical data, demand forecasts, sales trends and operational requirements.
• Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts to support stock planning and replenishment.
• Analyse seasonality, consumption patterns and operational needs to determine optimal inventory levels.
• Implement optimisation strategies to balance service levels, inventory costs and efficiency.
• Monitor stock performance, turnover and ageing to reduce excess or obsolete inventory.
• Coordinate with procurement, logistics, workshops and OEMs to align inventory plans with production schedules.
• Prepare and maintain performance reports, providing analytical insights for strategic decisions.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance planning accuracy and control.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in inventory management, planning or logistics.
• Experience in the transportation sector or a large reputable organisation preferred.
• Relevant certifications such as CSCP, CIM or CPSM.
