IT Business Analyst – IT/OT (Industrial Systems)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced IT Business Analyst specialized in IT/OT to bridge business operations and technology in industrial plant environments. You will analyze requirements, support operational technology applications, and ensure the reliability and continuous improvement of plant information systems.

Key responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, document, and validate business and technical requirements from stakeholders.
• Conduct workshops to identify automation opportunities and translate requirements into functional specifications.
• Support and maintain Plant Information Management Systems (PIMS) and OT applications, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Provide administration and maintenance for Honeywell and Baker Hughes industrial applications.
• Develop and maintain web‑based and desktop applications using Microsoft technologies, create APIs and system integrations.
• Perform unit, integration, regression testing and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Required profile

• Proven experience in industrial IT/OT environments and plant operations.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Excellent communication to act as liaison between business users, vendors, and IT teams.

• Honeywell PIMS, Honeywell PHD, Uniformance Process Studio, Honeywell PHD Configuration Tool, Advanced Formula Manager, Uniformance Excel Companion.
• Alarm Management System, Operations Monitoring Systems, Production Balance Applications.
• Baker Hughes operational and monitoring applications.
• Microsoft technologies (e.g..NET, C#, SQL Server) for web‑based and desktop development.
• Web services, APIs, database development, reporting and dashboard creation.
• Unit testing, integration testing, regression testing, UAT coordination.
