IT Operations, Cloud Infrastructure Lead

About the role

This position provides technical leadership and oversight for the entire infrastructure technology stack, spanning on‑premise data‑centre assets and public cloud services. The successful candidate will drive proactive monitoring, SLA compliance and continuous improvement across hybrid environments.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the data centre, physical and virtual servers (VMware, Hyper‑V) and associated storage systems.
• Oversee cloud services, primarily Microsoft Azure, ensuring seamless integration with on‑premise resources.
• Work closely with technical teams to monitor IT services proactively and prevent service disruptions.
• Ensure all infrastructure requests and incidents are resolved within defined SLA targets.
• Coordinate routine maintenance, hardware replacements and housekeeping activities with third‑party vendors.
• Direct disaster‑recovery site operations and maintain business‑continuity plans.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 + years of experience in IT operations, data‑centre and cloud infrastructure management.
• Preferred functional certification: ITIL v4.
• Technical certifications such as MCSE, VCP and Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert are highly desirable.

Required skills

• Hybrid infrastructure management (VMware, Hyper‑V).
• Microsoft Azure cloud platform.
• Storage Area Networks (SAN) and backup/recovery solutions (Commvault, Azure Backup Vault).
• Disaster‑recovery planning and execution.
• SLA monitoring and compliance.
• Vendor coordination for hardware and maintenance contracts.
