IT Operations & Service Delivery Manager

About the role

The IT Operations & Service Delivery Manager will lead the end‑to‑end management of IT infrastructure across the company’s fleet of vessels and shore‑based offices. This senior role ensures that all technology services are reliable, secure, and aligned with business needs while driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee IT infrastructure operations for vessels and land‑based sites, maintaining uptime and security.
• Develop and maintain a vessel IT architecture roadmap in line with the overall IT strategy.
• Lead the service desk team, enforce ITSM/ITIL processes, and ensure SLA compliance.
• Manage end‑user computing assets, including lifecycle management of laptops, desktops, printers and peripherals.
• Direct Windows and Linux environments on cloud and hybrid platforms, ensuring high availability, performance monitoring and patch compliance.
• Drive cloud migration, cost optimisation and security controls.
• Supervise data‑center and disaster‑recovery operations to guarantee resilient services.
• Coordinate with business units, applications teams and third‑party vendors to align service delivery and negotiate contracts.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing complex IT operations in a multi‑site or maritime environment.
• Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
• Ability to lead technical teams and drive process improvements.
