IT Planning Analyst (Contracts)

About the role

The IT Planning Analyst (Contracts) will manage the full lifecycle of IT contracting activities, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and alignment with business objectives. This role collaborates closely with SMEs, Supply, Legal and other stakeholders to deliver high‑quality contractual outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Gather requirements, prepare, review and maintain contractual documents, and oversee contract execution from start to close‑out.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure contractual clarity, accuracy, and alignment with IT budgets (OPEX and CAPEX).
• Support Contract Owners during tendering and execution phases, ensuring timely procurement processing and accurate SAP transactions.
• Monitor supplier performance, conduct contract evaluations, and identify opportunities for cost optimisation and risk mitigation.
• Engage stakeholders throughout the contract lifecycle, promoting effective communication and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Information Systems, Law, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• 5‑8 years of experience in IT contract management, procurement or supply chain, preferably in oil & gas, energy or industrial sectors.
• Strong knowledge of IT contracting principles, procurement strategies and vendor governance frameworks.
• Experience working with legal, technical and procurement teams in a regulated environment.
