IT Project Manager – Asset & Wealth Management (Banking)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead end‑to‑end implementations for asset and wealth management solutions within a leading banking environment in Qatar. The role will oversee the full project lifecycle, from business case development through to user acceptance testing and go‑live.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and deliver IT projects for asset and wealth management platforms, ensuring scope, schedule and budget compliance.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams, including business, technical and external vendors, to achieve project milestones.
• Conduct process mapping and customer journey analysis to drive re‑engineering and improve operational efficiency.
• Manage change initiatives, including stakeholder communication, training and adoption strategies.
• Oversee testing activities, UAT coordination and post‑implementation support.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of project management experience in the banking sector, specifically in asset or wealth management.
• Proven track record delivering full‑life‑cycle projects using both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Avaloq (Front Office), Finastra TCM (Middle Office) and Temenos (Back Office) platforms.
• Familiarity with custody and securities solutions such as TCS Bancs and FIS.
• Knowledge of Waterfall and Agile project implementation methodologies.
• Process mapping and re‑engineering expertise in asset and wealth management.
