Junior Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a Junior Accountant to join our finance team in Qatar. You will work closely with senior accountants and auditors to ensure accurate financial reporting. The role supports the preparation of financial reports, month‑end close and audit activities, providing a solid foundation for a career in accounting.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing financial statements and reconciliations.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing processes.
• Prepare journal entries and post transactions.
• Help coordinate internal and external audits.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable accounting standards.

Required profile

• Currently residing in Qatar.
• 1–3 years of accounting experience with audit exposure.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with accounting software.
