About the role
MBG Corporate Services is seeking a motivated Junior Legal Consultant to join its legal consultancy team in Qatar. The role offers exposure to a wide range of corporate, commercial and regulatory matters across multiple industries, allowing the candidate to develop practical expertise in Qatari law.
Key responsibilities
- Draft and review legal documents such as lease, sale & purchase, distribution, service, shareholders, joint venture, commercial contracts and corporate agreements.
- Conduct legal research on Qatari commercial, corporate, real‑estate, civil, construction, maritime, insurance, commercial agency, and bankruptcy laws.
- Prepare opinions, reports, memorandums and client advisories under supervision.
- Assist senior consultants and assistant managers with client matters, case strategy and regulatory compliance.
- Draft articles and newsletters for digital marketing support.
- Coordinate with government authorities, regulatory bodies and clients as required.
- Maintain proper documentation and ensure timely completion of assignments while managing multiple tasks.
Required profile
- Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) or equivalent qualification.
- 1–2 years of post‑qualification experience in a reputable law firm or legal consultancy in Qatar.
- Good understanding of local Qatari laws and legal procedures.
- Strong legal drafting and analytical abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Arabic language proficiency is preferred but not mandatory.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
