Landscape Architect Intern – Qatar

About the role

Parsons is seeking a motivated Landscape Architecture intern to support the design of public realm, roadways, parks and infrastructure projects in Qatar. This is a hands‑on opportunity to apply academic knowledge to real‑world projects while working alongside experienced designers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop softscape and hardscape plans, planting layouts, irrigation and grading designs.
• Assist in landscape architectural studies, concept development, design criteria and related reports.
• Produce high‑quality presentation drawings, renderings, 3D models and animations.
• Prepare graphics and visualisations to communicate design intent.

Required profile

• Current student of Landscape Architecture or a related program.
• Self‑motivated, proactive and able to take responsibility for daily tasks.
• Strong hand‑drawing and graphic design abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Adobe InDesign.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit and Adobe Photoshop.
• Working knowledge of Land F/X, Lumion and Illustrator.
• Experience using Adobe Acrobat for reviewing and marking up drawings.
