Laundry Attendant

About the role

We are looking for a Laundry Attendant to join our team at The St. Regis Residence in Doha. The role involves handling all aspects of laundry operations for guest linens and staff uniforms in a luxury hotel environment.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor washing, dry‑cleaning and drying equipment, add chemicals and clean lint traps.
• Identify stained or damaged items and decide on repair, rewash or discard.
• Set dryer times and temperatures based on fabric types.
• Remove lint and debris from dryer screens and dry‑cleaning filters after each load.
• Inspect cleaned articles, fold to designated sizes and place them in linen carts.
• Maintain accurate records of items laundered and follow safety and security policies.
• Follow uniform appearance standards and protect confidential information.
• Support team members to achieve common goals and report any equipment defects.

Required profile

• No high school diploma or GED required.
• No prior laundry or related work experience required.
• No supervisory experience or certifications required.
• Ability to stand, walk or sit for extended periods.
• Capability to lift objects up to 25 lb without assistance.
