About the role
The Laundry Attendant operates and monitors washing, dry cleaning, and drying equipment to ensure clean linen and garments for hotel guests. This full‑time position supports the housekeeping team at the Conference Centre Street location.
Key responsibilities
- Operate washing, dry‑cleaning and drying machinery, add chemicals, and clean lint traps.
- Identify stained or damaged items and decide on repair, rewash, spot‑treatment or discard.
- Inspect cleaned articles, fold them to designated sizes, and place them in clean linen carts.
- Maintain accurate records of laundered items and follow safety and security policies.
Required profile
- No high school diploma or GED required.
- No prior related work experience needed.
- No supervisory experience or licenses required.
- Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 25 lb and work in confined or elevated spaces.
