Lead, Contracts (Infrastructure)

About the role

Parsons is seeking a Lead, Contracts to manage and support corporate and building project contracts in Doha, ensuring they meet project requirements and align with company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate, agree, and process all variations, change orders, or concession requests with contractors/consultants and prepare submissions for the Tenders Committee.
• Prepare financial statements throughout the contract period, detailing the financial position of assigned departments.
• Undertake contract‑related processes, monitor contract progress, and ensure compliance by liaising with relevant departments.
• Monitor the work of awarded contractors/consultants, taking action or escalating when contracts are not adhered to.
• Review and negotiate disputes with contractors, recommending resolutions that satisfy both parties.
• Prepare and assist with project‑related contracts to ensure alignment with project needs.
• Produce timely MIS statements and reports and manage priorities with minimal guidance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related discipline; contract certifications are a plus.
• 7+ years of experience in similar roles on infrastructure projects, especially within the real‑estate environment.
• Extensive experience awarding and managing infrastructure contracts.
• Expert knowledge of infrastructure tendering and contract processes, including commercial, technical, and legal aspects.
• Specific knowledge of local infrastructure contract laws and applicable contractual terms.
