Lead Technical Storekeeper - Supply Chain MRO

About the role

The Lead Technical Storekeeper will manage the storage, handling and control of aircraft spares, tools and consumables for line and base maintenance at Qatar Airways. You will ensure that all materials are available, correctly documented and compliant with airline and civil aviation regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain proper storage conditions and control of aircraft parts, tools, equipment and supplies.
• Execute binning, pre‑loading, receiving, issuing, transferring and dispatch of items to support maintenance and workshop activities.
• Update and reconcile the TRAX inventory system, reporting any discrepancies.
• Verify tool completeness, serviceability and calibration status at issuance and return.
• Coordinate shipment clearance, perform initial inspections and generate appropriate documentation (GRN or SDR).
• Ensure compliance with QCAA, FAA, EASA, IATA and OEM regulations, as well as internal Quality, Finance and HSE policies.
• Communicate effectively with maintenance teams to prevent work stoppages or AOG situations.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in an airline or aviation‑related inventory control role.
• Familiarity with airline computerized inventory systems and the TRAX platform.
• Knowledge of DG handling, shelf‑life management and HSE procedures.
• Understanding of EASA, FAA and QCAA regulatory requirements.
• Strong analytical ability and good command of written and spoken English.
