Lean Engineer – Infrastructure Projects

About the role

We are seeking a Lean Engineer to join a high‑profile infrastructure project in Doha, Qatar. The role will focus on establishing Lean principles during the early phases of construction and mentoring Lean Implementation Leads throughout the programme.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement Lean construction methodologies across the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with project teams to identify waste and drive continuous improvement.
• Guide and support Lean Implementation Leads in applying Lean tools and techniques.
• Monitor performance metrics and report on Lean initiatives.
• Provide technical expertise to ensure alignment with project schedules and quality standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in construction, with at least 7 years in Lean‑focused roles.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) or Professional Engineer status preferred; an engineering degree is essential.
• Experience may be reduced to 5 years if the candidate holds a recognised Lean construction certification and can demonstrate successful project delivery.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Lean construction principles and tools.
• Four‑year engineering degree (civil, mechanical, or related discipline).
