About the role
The Learning Assistant supports the lead preschool teacher in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children. This role involves assisting with classroom instruction, supervising children, and promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive development.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the lead teacher in delivering daily lesson plans and educational games aligned with the curriculum.
- Monitor children during classroom activities, playtime, meals, and outdoor periods to ensure safety and positive behavior.
- Reinforce classroom rules and help guide children in developing appropriate social and emotional skills.
- Prepare, organize, and maintain learning materials, displays, and classroom resources.
- Keep the classroom clean, sanitized, and free from hazards.
- Provide one‑on‑one or small‑group support for children needing extra help or emotional assistance.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Early Childhood Education (required).
- Prior experience working with young children in an educational or care setting (preferred).
