Lifeguard – Resort Pool Safety at Banana Island Resort Doha

About the role

We are looking for a professional Lifeguard to ensure the safety of guests and staff at the pool area of Banana Island Resort Doha by Anantara. The role involves vigilant monitoring, emergency response and maintaining safety equipment during operating hours.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor designated swimming areas to guarantee guest and associate safety during posted business hours.
• Set up and inspect safety equipment, including flotation devices, rescue boat, first‑aid kits, safety flags, and display pool depth and temperature information.
• Respond promptly to emergencies, perform rescues, and administer CPR or first aid as required.
• Maintain accurate records of incidents and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
• Perform additional duties assigned by management.

Required profile

• Valid Lifeguard certification with authorization to conduct CPR and first‑aid.
• 2–5 years of lifeguarding experience, preferably in a resort or hotel setting.
• Strong English communication skills and a pleasant, professional demeanor.
• Ability to work under pressure, multitask and follow safety procedures.
