Line up Operator – Offshore Projects

About the role

Saipem is seeking an experienced Line up Operator to support offshore pipe handling and fit‑up activities on multiple projects across Qatar, the UAE and Saudi Arabia. You will work on prefabrication areas, line‑up stations and J‑lay tower assemblies, ensuring safe and efficient equipment operation.

Key responsibilities

• Operate pipeline conveyors and transfer cars in the Double Joint prefabrication area.
• Handle clamps for pipe fit‑up at the J‑lay tower assembling station.
• Run support pipe rollers and transfer cars in line‑up stations.
• Report any equipment malfunctions to the mechanic department.
• Apply green and red light signals according to work phases.
• Operate the ILUC winches and related lifting equipment.
• Participate in toolbox talks and Job Safety Analyses (JSA).

Required profile

• Previous offshore Line up Operator experience.
• Experience with offshore hook‑up activities is a plus.
• Valid offshore certificates.
• Willingness to work in the Middle East.
