Local Provider Medical Manager

About the role

The Local Provider Medical Manager is responsible for overseeing the medical provider network in Qatar, ensuring a diverse and financially sustainable portfolio of services for the Allianz group. The role involves negotiating contracts, onboarding providers, and supporting the regional MPM leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Support and execute the strategy set by the Global & Regional Head of MPM.
• Manage the end‑to‑end procurement process for medical providers, maintaining confidentiality and integrity.
• Lead regional projects related to regulatory compliance and business continuity.
• Expand the provider network in line with local business needs while controlling costs.
• Negotiate tariffs, conduct cost analyses, and drive financial savings.
• Maintain and update standard operating procedures, checklists, and delegation of authority policies.
• Prepare periodic reports for central MPM governance.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience in medical provider management or related procurement functions.
• Strong understanding of the medical health industry and provider cost structures.
• Proven ability to negotiate contracts and manage stakeholder relationships.
• Excellent analytical and judgment skills, with a focus on confidentiality.
