Loss Prevention Officer – Hotel Security

About the role

The Loss Prevention Officer will safeguard all assets of Banana Island Resort Doha, ensuring a secure environment for guests, staff and property. Working closely with the security team and corporate loss‑prevention department, you will monitor alarms, respond to incidents and support investigations.

Key responsibilities

• Guard and protect hotel property, parking areas, documentation, equipment and building infrastructure from unauthorized access, theft or sabotage.
• Develop, maintain and document training plans for security personnel in line with corporate loss‑prevention policies.
• Respond to security alarms, intrusion detection systems and fire protection alerts, ensuring timely and appropriate action.
• Monitor building and car‑park conditions, including gas, fire, heating, ventilation and air‑conditioning systems.
• Assist law‑enforcement agencies during investigations and preserve evidence according to established procedures.
• Prepare incident reports and support inquiries related to losses, thefts and employee misconduct.
• Provide security support for large events and festivals hosted by the resort.

Required profile

• Strong sense of judgment, common sense and ability to act calmly in emergency situations.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with corporate security, employees, visitors and emergency responders.
• Ability to work in a team environment and follow detailed security procedures.
