Luxury Villa General Manager – Pre-Opening (Jericoacoara, Brazil)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Luxury Villa General Manager to lead the complete pre‑opening and ongoing operation of an ultra‑luxury private villa in Jericoacoara, Ceará, Brazil. This role is focused on transforming an architectural project into a world‑class hospitality experience, requiring hands‑on leadership from planning through launch.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the entire pre‑opening process, from strategic planning to grand opening.
• Develop and implement operational strategies, SOPs, manuals, policies and service standards.
• Design departmental workflows, coordinate suppliers, contractors and operational partners.
• Implement property‑management and operational systems, define staffing plans and organizational structure.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts and manage vendor relationships.
• Recruit, interview, hire and onboard all operational staff.
• Build, coach and evaluate high‑performing teams, including department heads.
• Handle performance management, disciplinary actions, hiring and termination decisions.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience as General Manager, Operations Manager or Director of Operations in luxury hospitality.
• Proven track record of leading at least one full pre‑opening of a luxury hotel, resort or private villa.
• Experience creating SOPs and building operational departments from scratch.
• Strong leadership across multiple departments with budget management experience.
• Fluent English (spoken and written) and willingness to relocate to Jericoacoara.
