Machine Operator – Digital Print & Fabrication

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Machine Operator to join our production team on an urgent basis. The role involves operating digital printing and fabrication machinery, preparing print‑ready files, performing finishing works and maintaining equipment to ensure high‑quality output for branding, events, exhibitions, signage and fabrication projects.

Key responsibilities

• Operate large and small‑format digital printers (UV, solvent, eco‑solvent, latex) and related finishing equipment such as CNC routers, laser cutters and laminators.
• Prepare substrates, inks and materials, perform test prints, and adjust for alignment, sizing and colour accuracy.
• Carry out cutting, trimming, laminating, mounting, routing and assembly of various materials including vinyl, acrylic, MDF, foam board, aluminum, PVC, fabric and paper.
• Prepare and verify print‑ready files (AI, PDF, PSD, EPS) and modify artwork using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and basic InDesign.
• Operate RIP software, manage production queues, perform colour calibration, profiling and quality checks.
• Troubleshoot minor machine, mechanical and software issues, and conduct routine cleaning, calibration and preventive maintenance.
• Coordinate with designers, production teams and project managers to ensure accurate job execution and maintain production records.

Required profile

• Technical Diploma or certification in Printing Technology, Graphic Arts, Manufacturing or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Digital Print Operator, CNC Operator, Fabrication Technician or similar role.
• Physically capable of handling production materials and working extended hours when required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Immediate availability.

Required skills

• Operation of UV, solvent, eco‑solvent and latex digital printers.
• CNC router, laser cutter and laminator operation.
• Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop proficiency; basic InDesign knowledge.
• RIP software usage and print production workflow management.
• Colour management, calibration and quality control.
