Machine Operator – Digital Print & Fabrication

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Machine Operator to join our production team on an urgent basis. The role involves operating digital printing and fabrication equipment to deliver high‑quality branding, event, exhibition, signage and fabrication projects.

Key responsibilities

• Operate large and small‑format digital printers (UV, solvent, eco‑solvent, latex) and finishing equipment such as CNC routers, laser cutters, plotters and laminators.
• Prepare substrates, inks and materials, perform test prints, adjust alignment, sizing and colour accuracy.
• Carry out cutting, trimming, laminating, mounting, routing and assembly of materials like vinyl, acrylic, MDF, foam board, aluminum, PVC, fabric and paper.
• Prepare and verify print‑ready files (AI, PDF, PSD, EPS) and modify artwork using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and basic InDesign.
• Run RIP software, manage production queues, perform colour calibration, profiling and quality checks.
• Troubleshoot minor mechanical and software issues, conduct routine cleaning, calibration and preventive maintenance.
• Maintain production records, monitor material usage and coordinate with designers, project managers and production teams.

Required profile

• Technical Diploma or certification in Printing Technology, Graphic Arts, Manufacturing or related field.
• Proven experience as a Digital Print Operator, CNC Operator or Fabrication Technician.
• Strong practical knowledge of digital printing and fabrication machinery.
• Ability to read artworks, layouts, technical drawings and job instructions.
• Physically capable of handling production materials and working extended hours when required.
