Maintenance Manager – Lubricant Manufacturing

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead all maintenance activities at our lubricant manufacturing facility in Doha. The role focuses on maximizing plant reliability, minimizing downtime, and ensuring safe, efficient maintenance across mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and utility systems.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and execute preventive, predictive, corrective and breakdown maintenance to achieve high equipment availability.
• Oversee maintenance of rotating and static equipment, utilities, piping, storage tanks, boilers, compressors, pumps, heat exchangers and HVAC systems.
• Manage shutdowns, turnarounds, major overhauls, commissioning and plant modification projects within budget and schedule.
• Develop and maintain maintenance plans, CMMS data, KPIs, budgets and spare‑parts inventory.
• Ensure compliance with HSE policies, PTW, LOTO, OEM recommendations and statutory regulations.
• Lead, mentor and develop the maintenance team while managing contractors and cross‑functional coordination with Production, Engineering, Procurement, Quality and HSE.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of maintenance experience in oil & gas, lubricant blending, refinery, petrochemical or chemical processing.
• At least 5 years in a senior maintenance leadership role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Proven track record managing multidisciplinary teams, budgets, CAPEX and plant reliability programs.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance practices.
• Hands‑on experience with CMMS platforms such as SAP PM, IBM Maximo or Oracle.
• Reliability engineering, shutdown planning, Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and FMEA.
• Maintenance KPI management and spare‑parts optimization.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs and technical specifications.
