Maintenance Supervisor – Residential

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Maintenance Supervisor to oversee appliance maintenance across multiple residential sites in Doha. You will ensure all equipment complies with Qatar Airways standards, operates reliably, and is serviced cost‑effectively and on time.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct periodic inspections of assigned facilities, prepare reports, diagnose issues, and initiate corrective actions.
• Track and follow up on all pending appliance maintenance requests, updating the system with latest feedback from on‑site teams.
• Inspect completed maintenance work, verify compliance with scope, and sign off completion certificates.
• Plan and manage the Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) schedule.
• Respond to emergency or major issues 24/7.
• Supervise contracted staff, assign tasks, and evaluate progress.
• Assess service requests, prioritize, and communicate timelines to customers.
• Plan labour and material requirements for scheduled and unscheduled jobs, ensuring availability of tools and equipment.
• Maintain daily records of manpower, materials, stock, tools, and equipment usage.
• Perform additional departmental duties as directed by the Head of Department.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma (or equivalent) with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Background in hotel, hospitality, or facilities management.
• Proven ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage emergencies.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
