About the role
The Maintenance Technician ensures a safe, clean and fully functional environment for visitors and co‑workers at IKEA Qatar. You will keep the store’s building and mechanical systems in top condition, supporting the IKEA brand image.
Key responsibilities
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and complete work orders to keep the store "Shape as new".
- Conduct building, grounds and system inspections and act as the main contact for external service providers.
- Implement both preventive and reactive facility routines to maintain functionality.
- Follow local, state, federal and IKEA safety guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.
Required profile
- High school or trade school graduate.
- 1‑3 years proven experience in building maintenance.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Understanding of fire and security systems.
