Management System Analyst – HSE Focus (Doha, Qatar)

About the role

Airswift is seeking a Management System Analyst to support a national operator in Qatar. The role is contract‑based, on‑site, and focuses on health, safety and environment (HSE) management systems across multiple sites including Doha, Dukhan, Mesaieed and RLC.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the senior QHSE management system analyst in defining, tracking and achieving annual HSE objectives.
• Review and implement permit‑to‑work requirements for material warehouses and ensure appropriate training for all permit applicants.
• Report incidents, near‑misses, unsafe acts and conditions; coordinate safety alerts and lessons learned.
• Act as focal point for department SMART objectives, set targets and obtain management approval.
• Conduct inspections of material warehouses, offices and operational sites; follow up on findings.
• Prepare, review and update department risk registers, legal obligations registers and training matrices.
• Lead safety campaigns (heat stress, chemical handling, hot work, height work, lifting operations) and maintain Life‑Saving Rules signage.
• Inspect chemical storage and handling facilities, implement MSDS and COSHH procedures, and provide related training.
• Coordinate waste management, segregation and disposal in compliance with local regulations.
• Support corrective actions from internal and external HSE audits and prepare HSE plans, procedures and method statements.
• Organise and conduct site HSE audits, fire‑fighting system inspections and liaise with vendors for testing and calibration.

Required profile

• Experience in HSE or QHSE environments, preferably within energy, infrastructure or industrial sectors.
• Familiarity with permit‑to‑work systems, risk registers and legal compliance documentation.
• Ability to work on‑site in Qatar and travel between multiple locations as required.
