Manager Business Finance

About the role

The Manager Business Finance is responsible for preparing financial and strategic information, monitoring budget variances, evaluating opportunities and risks, and implementing cost control measures. The role supports middle management with business cases, dashboards, and analyses, delivering insightful reporting for senior finance and business leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, monitor and review internal accounting policies and SOPs, focusing on process improvement and internal control.
• Facilitate risk management through trend analysis, impact modelling, and mitigation activities.
• Oversee month‑end and year‑end closing activities and enforce proper accounting methods.
• Build advanced financial models and conduct quantitative analyses such as profitability drivers, scenario modelling, and unit‑cost benchmarking.
• Participate in annual strategic planning, including market trend analysis, SWOT, budgeting, forecasting, and sensitivity analysis.
• Prepare and present monthly KPI performance, revenue/expenditure variance analysis, and quarterly rolling forecasts to stakeholders.
• Review commercial contracts and business proposals for compliance with policies.
• Lead budgeting process, cost‑efficiency initiatives, and post‑CMC analysis for major capital projects.
• Monitor expenditure variances, investigate significant deviations, and ensure inventory levels are within acceptable ranges.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in a management role.
• Experience in B2C, loyalty and marketing environments.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret data, review variances, and understand business cycles.
• Proven ability to work under tight reporting deadlines and manage interruptions.
• Excellent managerial skills: delegation, mentoring, coaching, and team development.
