Manager, Project Finance & Infrastructure Advisory

About the role

EY's Project Finance and Infrastructure team advises clients on financial, procurement, strategic and public-private partnership issues for large-scale infrastructure projects. As Manager in Doha, you will advise clients on the development and implementation of strategies for such projects, covering feasibility, structuring, funding and closing of financing and procurement, including contract negotiation and project management. You will also mentor junior team members.

Key responsibilities

• Advise clients on strategies for advancing large-scale infrastructure and other projects
• Advise on feasibility, structuring, funding and closing of financing for infrastructure projects and/or procurements, including contract negotiation and project management
• Demonstrate deep understanding of capital project funding, financing and delivery mechanisms at local, state and national levels
• Provide project and program management assistance to clients and project teams on large projects
• Develop and mentor junior team members

Required profile

• 6-8+ years of directly relevant experience on large-scale infrastructure projects
• Experience in a top-tier advisory firm, infrastructure service provider, developer, bank, government agency or similar sector
• Experience structuring and financing transactions and/or procurements, and the commercial aspects of project documents
• MBA or CFA preferred; engineering qualification an advantage
• Fluency in written and spoken Arabic is ideal

• Strong knowledge of PPPs, concessions, acquisitions and project financing structures
• Project financial modeling, financing markets and procurement and delivery of infrastructure
• Value frameworks for strategic investment across asset classes, enhancements, renewals, maintenance and operations
• Problem-solving, project management, interpersonal and communication skills
• Quantitative analytical capabilities and financial modelling experience
