Marine Superintendent

About the role

The Marine Superintendent oversees the safe and efficient operation of vessels, acting as the central point of contact between internal teams and external stakeholders. This role ensures that all certifications are up‑to‑date, crew movements are coordinated, and contractual obligations with clients and sub‑contractors are met.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with Fleet Managers and Technical Superintendents to validate vessel certifications and support smooth day‑to‑day operations.
• Collaborate with the Crewing team to manage crew travel, crew changes, and resolve personnel issues.
• Maintain regular communication with major oil‑and‑gas clients such as QatarEnergy, Shell, TotalEnergies, and others to ensure operational compliance.
• Coordinate with sub‑contractors to monitor performance of contracted vessels and jack‑up barges, ensuring adherence to contractual requirements.
• Provide internal updates and reports on vessel status, certification validity, and operational performance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in marine operations or vessel management.
• Strong understanding of maritime certification processes and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent communication skills for interfacing with internal teams, crew, clients, and sub‑contractors.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced offshore environment.
