Marketing & Communication Officer

About the role

The Marketing & Communication Officer will support the development and execution of communication and public‑relations strategies that align with malomatia’s corporate objectives and digital transformation vision. The role focuses on strengthening brand positioning as a trusted national IT and digital solutions partner.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement communication and PR strategies to support corporate, marketing and national digital objectives.
• Build and maintain relationships with local, regional and industry media outlets.
• Draft, review and distribute press releases, media statements and official announcements.
• Serve as the primary contact for media inquiries, ensuring timely and brand‑aligned responses.
• Monitor media coverage, brand mentions and public sentiment; prepare analytical reports for management.
• Support stakeholder engagement with government entities, clients, partners and the public.
• Manage corporate communication platforms, including social media channels and digital tools.
• Assist in internal communication initiatives, employee engagement and corporate events.
• Ensure all communication materials comply with branding guidelines, policies and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in corporate communication, PR or media relations, preferably in the IT/technology sector.
• Fluent in English; Arabic preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite for preparing reports and communication materials.
• Experience using social media analytics tools and website content management.
