Martial Arts Coach for Kids

About the role

MTM Group is looking for experienced Kids’ Martial Arts Coaches to deliver structured, engaging training sessions for children across multiple disciplines. You will help develop young athletes in a safe, disciplined, high‑performance environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality, age‑appropriate classes for children of various skill levels, using progression pathways and grading systems.
• Create a positive, inclusive learning atmosphere that builds confidence, discipline and teamwork.
• Follow all child safeguarding policies, ensure safety, and report incidents according to protocol.
• Communicate professionally with parents about progress, behaviour and program details.
• Maintain professional standards, punctuality and presentation, and participate in internal training and meetings.

Required profile

• 2–3 years proven experience coaching children in martial arts.
• Minimum Black Belt (or equivalent advanced level) in a relevant discipline.
• Valid safeguarding/child protection certification (or willingness to obtain).
• First‑aid/CPR certification preferred.

Required skills

• Expertise in one or more disciplines: Brazilian Jiu‑Jitsu, Muay Thai, Mixed Martial Arts, Boxing, Taekwondo, Karate.
• Strong English communication for clear instruction.
• Class control and behavioural management.
