Mathematics Teacher – International School in Doha

About the role

We are recruiting a Mathematics Teacher to join an Outstanding‑rated British International School in Doha. The school follows the England and Wales National Curriculum and serves students from early years through to age 18.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess mathematics lessons up to A‑Level.
• Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of a diverse, expatriate student body.
• Contribute to the school’s academic community and participate in staff development activities.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development.

Required profile

• Degree and PGCE or QTS obtained in the UK or Ireland.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching secondary mathematics up to A‑Level, preferably in a British curriculum setting.
• Eligibility to work in Qatar.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of the British secondary mathematics curriculum.
• Ability to teach mathematics concepts clearly to learners aged 3‑18.
