Mechanic – HVAC Specialist (Level II)

About the role

The Mechanic‑HVAC II will ensure the reliable operation of heating, ventilation, air‑conditioning, refrigeration and related systems across the property. This role combines technical maintenance, energy monitoring and guest‑service responsibilities in a fast‑paced hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect, repair and maintain HVAC, air‑quality control and refrigeration equipment.
• Conduct daily inspections of the mechanical plant and calibrate gauges, meters and controls.
• Monitor and control property temperature, energy consumption and utility usage.
• Assemble, install, test and maintain electrical wiring and electronic systems.
• Install and maintain pipe assemblies, fittings, valves and related components.
• Perform routine pool and spa maintenance.
• Follow all safety, security and company policies; report hazards and incidents.
• Provide courteous guest service and maintain a professional appearance.

Required profile

• Technical, trade or vocational school degree.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in HVAC, refrigeration or related mechanical maintenance.
• EPA Universal Certification and a valid HVAC certification.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Ability to work in confined, elevated or uneven spaces and lift objects up to 100 lb.
