About the role

The Memberships Specialist will lead the planning, coordination, and execution of strategic initiatives that deepen relationships with general members and high‑net‑worth individuals. Working in a fast‑paced environment, you will create personalized experiences, manage exclusive events, and support data‑driven improvements to increase member engagement and retention.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong, personalized relationships with members across designated tiers.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for high‑level members, handling inquiries, requests, and feedback promptly.
• Collaborate with museum leadership and external partners to identify and attract new members.
• Design and implement customized membership programs, benefits, and exclusive experiences such as private tours and bespoke events.
• Monitor program impact, analyze data, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Plan and execute tier‑specific events, overseeing logistics, vendor selection, invitations, and guest management.
• Partner with development, marketing, and communications teams to align engagement strategies and create tailored stewardship plans.
• Support the preparation of annual giving reports and impact summaries for high‑net‑worth and institutional members.
• Maintain accurate records of member interactions and program outcomes in the CRM system.

Required profile

• Proven experience in member relations, donor stewardship, or high‑touch client services.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on delivering exceptional service.
• Detail‑oriented mindset with a passion for creating memorable, personalized experiences.
