MEP Engineer (Electrical Background)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced MEP Engineer with a strong electrical engineering background to join a leading cooling‑solutions provider in Qatar. The successful candidate will supervise, coordinate and maintain mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) systems to ensure efficient building operations and timely project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the installation, testing and maintenance of MEP systems across projects.
• Coordinate electrical, HVAC and plumbing activities with multidisciplinary teams.
• Review technical drawings, specifications and as‑built documents for compliance.
• Ensure all work follows safety, quality and local regulatory standards.
• Troubleshoot system issues and provide technical support during project execution.
• Prepare regular reports, maintenance logs and documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Relevant experience in MEP, facility‑management or related projects, preferably within the GCC.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Strong understanding of safety and quality requirements in construction.

Required skills

• Electrical engineering principles.
• HVAC system design and operation.
• Plumbing system fundamentals.
• Knowledge of M&E system integration.
