MEP Supervisor

About the role

The MEP Supervisor will lead on‑site teams responsible for installing and commissioning mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. This position ensures work is performed to design specifications, safety standards, and project schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise technicians and subcontractors installing HVAC, electrical, piping, and plumbing systems according to approved drawings.
• Resolve site access and spatial conflicts between MEP trades and coordinate penetrations with civil teams.
• Conduct pressure and leakage tests, raise RFIs, and close punch‑list items in compliance with local codes.
• Enforce PPE use, lead daily Toolbox Talks, and maintain safe conditions for work at heights and hot‑work activities.
• Track daily manpower, material usage, and progress; report constraints and status to project engineers.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 3 to 5+ years of experience supervising MEP works on construction sites.

Required skills

• Ability to read and interpret MEP and structural drawings.
• Working knowledge of HVAC standards (SMACNA, ASHRAE).
• Familiarity with electrical and plumbing system standards.
• Experience performing pressure and leakage testing.
