Merchandisers’ Supervisor

About the role

The Merchandisers’ Supervisor leads a team of merchandisers to create attractive, well‑organized retail environments that support brand strategies and marketing campaigns. This role ensures product displays are visually compelling, inventory is managed efficiently, and the customer experience is consistently enhanced across stores.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute product displays that maximise customer appeal and drive sales.
• Oversee planogram implementation, ensuring placement follows brand guidelines and promotional plans.
• Identify and apply innovative display solutions to improve product visibility and customer engagement.
• Manage inventory levels for assigned areas and coordinate with the warehouse for timely restocks.
• Implement strategies to minimise stock‑outs and overstocking, maintaining optimal product availability.
• Provide leadership, coaching and training to merchandisers, building their knowledge of standards, product details and customer service.
• Collaborate with sales teams and store management to execute promotional displays and events.
• Monitor team performance against KPIs such as stock levels and planogram compliance, analysing data to drive improvements.
