About the role
The OCN/LN Monitor (Escort) is responsible for escorting un‑cleared personnel into work areas, monitoring their activities, and ensuring safety and compliance throughout the deployment. This position involves logging contractor movements, counting personnel and vehicles, and communicating status updates to relevant staff.
Key responsibilities
- Escort Local National (LN) and Other Country National (OCN) personnel from entry facilities to work zones and back.
- Log in and out all LN/OCN contractors, count personnel before and after duties, and report numbers to project and safety staff.
- Brief escorted personnel on base rules, prohibited items, and safety procedures.
- Maintain visual contact with all escorted vehicles and individuals at all times.
- Ensure no prohibited or contraband items are brought onto the base.
- Provide safety support, including evacuation to protective shelters if needed.
- Notify Project/Site Manager and Safety staff of unsafe conditions or suspicious behavior.
- Maintain housekeeping standards and remain alert to respond to any incident.
Required profile
- U.S. citizenship.
- Valid U.S. passport (preferred) and U.S. driver’s license with a clean record.
- Ability to meet all current USCENTCOM deployment policy requirements.
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain a valid residency visa in the host nation.
- Capability to work in extreme environmental conditions (dust, high temperatures) and endure long hours.
- Willingness to be 100% deployed overseas.
- Security clearance: NACI/Public Trust.
