OCN/LN Monitor & Escort – Security Personnel

About the role

The OCN/LN Monitor (Escort) is responsible for safely escorting un‑cleared Local National (LN) and Other Country National (OCN) personnel into work zones, monitoring their activities, and ensuring compliance with base security protocols.

Key responsibilities

• Escort LN/OCN personnel from entry points to work sites and back, maintaining continuous visual contact.
• Log in and out all LN/OCN contractors, count personnel before and after duties, and report numbers to the appropriate staff.
• Brief escorted personnel on base rules, prohibited items, and safety procedures.
• Verify that no weapons, drugs, or other contraband are brought onto the base.
• Maintain situational awareness, alerting security or project managers to unsafe conditions or suspicious behavior.
• Coordinate with Force Protection teams to purge work zones before personnel exit.
• Provide safety and welfare support, including sheltering during attacks.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required profile

• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a valid residency visa in the host nation.
• Valid U.S. passport (preferred) and U.S. driver’s license with a clean record.
• Eligibility to meet all current USCENTCOM deployment policy requirements.
• Willingness to work in extreme environmental conditions, including dust, high temperatures, and hazardous weather.
• Ability to endure long hours, travel 100% overseas, and obtain a NACI/Public Trust security clearance.
