Offshore Piping Designer for Oil & Gas Project

About the role

ISS International SpA is seeking an experienced Piping Designer to join an offshore oil & gas project in Qatar. The role involves creating and supporting piping designs for offshore platforms, ensuring compliance with industry standards and supporting commissioning activities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed piping design packages for offshore facilities.
• Produce and review P&ID, isometric, and layout drawings using industry‑standard software.
• Perform design calculations and verify compliance with ASME B31.3, API and other relevant codes.
• Provide technical support during commissioning and installation phases.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to resolve design issues and ensure project schedule adherence.

Required profile

• Proven experience in offshore oil & gas piping design and commissioning support.
• Familiarity with offshore platform environments and safety requirements.
• Valid BOSIET or T‑BOSIET certification is a strong advantage.
• Availability for offshore mobilization and ability to work 12‑hour shifts on a 56 days ON / 28 days OFF rotation.

Required skills

• AutoCAD Plant 3D, PDMS or AVEVA for piping design.
• Knowledge of ASME B31.3 and API standards.
• Strong piping design and calculation capabilities.
• Commissioning support experience.
