Operations Manager – Campus Operations

About the role

Nord Anglia Education is seeking an Operations Manager to lead the full operational management of Nord Anglia International School Al Khor. The role provides strategic leadership across health and safety, facilities, campus planning, and compliance, ensuring the school runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction for health & safety, facilities management, and campus planning.
• Lead day‑to‑day management of capital projects, including CAPEX budgeting, governance, and risk mitigation.
• Oversee campus renovations, large‑scale procurement, and liaison with landlords, contractors, and design teams.
• Manage third‑party contracts such as security, cleaning, maintenance, school buses, and catering.
• Ensure compliance with Qatar regulatory agencies, Nord Anglia standards, and legal requirements.
• Drive budgeting, procurement, and event logistics for all non‑academic functions.
• Line‑manage the Procurement Officer, Operations Assistant, facilities team, bus support assistants, and medical team.
• Collaborate with the Extended Leadership Team on space planning, room moves, and building maintenance.
• Advise the Principal on resource needs and achieve cost savings through vendor negotiations.

Required profile

• University degree.
• Previous experience in an operations management role, preferably within education or a similar environment.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• High personal integrity and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt quickly.
• Experience in Qatar or the broader Middle East is desirable.
