Operations Manager – Facilities Management

About the role

The Head of Operations leads daily Facilities Management services, ensuring MEP systems, maintenance activities and supporting services are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with contractual obligations. This senior role provides operational leadership across multiple sites, driving service quality, client satisfaction and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Direct daily facilities operations, including planned, preventive, corrective and emergency maintenance.
• Develop and implement operational plans, SOPs and workflow improvements to meet client and contract requirements.
• Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts and resource allocation, identifying cost‑control opportunities.
• Lead supervisors, engineers and technicians, setting performance expectations and providing coaching.
• Monitor contractors and suppliers, verify work quality and manage procurement interactions.
• Maintain client relationships, address complaints and ensure timely service updates.
• Conduct site inspections, safety audits and quality reviews to ensure compliance.
• Track KPIs, produce performance reports and drive data‑based process enhancements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or MEP Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of Facilities Management experience with supervisory responsibility.
• Fluency in Arabic and professional English communication skills.
• Proven experience in operational planning, budgeting and cost control.
• Strong leadership, client‑management and problem‑solving abilities.
