Oracle E-Business Suite Technical Consultant

About the role

An experienced Oracle E-Business Suite Technical Consultant is sought to own technical development, application configuration, enhancements, integrations, reporting and support within the Oracle E-Business Suite environment. The consultant designs, develops, tests, implements and supports solutions, working closely with functional consultants, business teams and other stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Own assigned technical and development activities, including change requests, enhancements and project tasks.
• Develop and configure applications in Oracle E-Business Suite R12.2.x.
• Build customizations using SQL/PL/SQL, Oracle Forms and Reports, OAF, ADF, Java/J2EE, BI Publisher, EBS APIs, AME, Web ADI, Discoverer and SOAP/REST services.
• Create and maintain XML and BI Publisher reports, and design, develop and support OBIEE reports and dashboards.
• Review, troubleshoot and improve existing code, and take part in code and design reviews.
• Write technical documentation and work with functional consultants and business/IT teams across the development lifecycle.
• Provide technical support to end users, raise Oracle Service Requests via My Oracle Support, and support integrations with other platforms.
• Follow IT service, change and release management processes, use the ticketing system, and support user training and post-implementation activities.
• Manage several technical tasks and projects at once while meeting deadlines.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.
• 5-6+ years of application development experience, preferably with Oracle technologies.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle E-Business Suite ERP R12.2.x.
• Proven experience in EBS technical development and customization, and in building OBIEE reports and dashboards.
