Part‑time Peer Reviewer – Water Resource Engineering (PhD)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced researcher with a PhD in Water Resource Engineering to join our editorial team as a part‑time peer reviewer. This remote, long‑term position allows you to contribute to the scientific community by ensuring the quality and integrity of submitted manuscripts.

Key responsibilities

• Assess the novelty and originality of manuscripts.
• Evaluate study design, methodology, and reproducibility.
• Verify that literature reviews are comprehensive and up‑to‑date.
• Analyse results and conclusions for clarity and scientific soundness.
• Provide constructive, clear, and confidential feedback to authors.
• Recommend acceptance, revision, or rejection to the journal editor.

Required profile

• Doctorate (PhD) or equivalent in Water Resource Engineering or a closely related field.
• At least five peer‑review‑ready publications in SCI/SSCI journals within the past three years.
• Strong analytical, critical‑thinking, and written communication skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively.
• Commitment to confidentiality, objectivity, and ethical reviewing standards.
• Prior experience as a peer reviewer is highly desirable.
