Pass and ID Clerk

About the role

The Pass and ID Clerk supports the Installation Access Program in Qatar, operating the Defense Biometrics Identification System (DBIDS) to issue and manage access badges for US Government personnel and locally employed staff.

Key responsibilities

• Grant installation access badges, enrolling all Locally Employed Persons (LEPs).
• Receive and relay pertinent communications related to access control.
• Review installation access applications in accordance with USG policy.
• Update barment rosters to deny unauthorized individuals.
• Inventory, maintain, and troubleshoot DBIDS equipment.
• Perform additional duties as required.

Required profile

• US citizen, at least 21 years old, with a valid US passport and driver’s license.
• High school diploma required; AA or BA/BS preferred.
• CAC eligibility and ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.
• Ability to obtain a host‑country driver’s license and meet USG security requirements.
• Willingness to work in extreme desert conditions (up to 130 °F).

Required skills

• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Experience operating DBIDS equipment (preferred).
• Basic computer operation and troubleshooting.
