Payroll Manager – Lead Multi‑Country Payroll Function

About the role

Welcome to your next adventure! Snoonu is looking for a Payroll Manager to lead and scale our payroll function as the company grows, supporting a multi‑country, multi‑brand workforce that includes HQ staff, Snoomart, Grocery, Garage, Accommodation and a large rider and driver population.

Key responsibilities

• Build and lead a diverse payroll team across HQ, Snoomart, Grocery, Garage, Accommodation and rider/driver workforce.
• Own end‑to‑end payroll governance, ensuring accurate, on‑time processing for staff, full‑time riders/drivers and 3PL workers.
• Implement segregation of duties, approval workflows and review controls to reduce key‑person risk.
• Ensure multi‑country compliance with labour law, Wage Protection System and social security in Qatar, Kuwait, Oman and other markets.
• Manage leave, final settlements and act as escalation point for complex payroll disputes.
• Partner with Automation & AI Engineering to integrate Keka, automate bank files and support the Dynamics 365 transformation.
• Oversee cash salary distribution and COD‑related adjustments for fleet and frontline teams.
• Report payroll cost, headcount and compliance metrics to Finance leadership and develop succession plans.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources or related field.
• Minimum 6 years of payroll experience, including 2–3 years in a leadership role managing multi‑country payroll.
• Strong knowledge of GCC payroll, labour law and WPS requirements.
• Proven ability to build, diversify and develop a resilient payroll team.
• Excellent communication skills for handling sensitive payroll queries.
