About the role
The Permit to Work (PTW) Coordinator ensures that all work permits, risk assessments and isolations are properly designed, implemented and closed out, supporting safe operations across SPIE's energy facilities in Doha.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate and verify PTWs and associated risk assessments.
- Act as Isolating Authority to guarantee correct design, implementation and removal of isolations.
- Manage the PTW Visual Management Dashboard and act as Operating Authority Representative.
- Participate in daily PTW meetings, reviewing hazards and controls.
- Support migration from paper PTWs to the eVision electronic system.
- Provide visible leadership to meet safety targets and promote a cost‑conscious, incident‑free culture.
- Champion health and safety campaigns and ensure compliance with operating procedures, process safety and plant integrity standards.
Required profile
- Higher secondary education plus a three‑year technical diploma (HNC, HND or equivalent).
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years offshore‑level on‑field equipment in oil & gas or petrochemical plants.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Strong interpersonal, organisational and computer literacy skills.
